An afternoon at the beach

I think today we got a taste of what’s to come in the future months. It was a warm day with temperatures close to 20C, and while the locals are still sporting their winter jackets and woolly hats, I could’ve easily worn only shorts and a t-shirt. I was debating on whether to do that, but decided to go with jeans in the end.

We took a stroll down to Cap d’Antibes, the Juan-les-Pins side of it. The scenery–as always–is really nice, and there’s a few small beaches on the way. We chose one and just relaxed for a couple of hours. I even tried the temperature of the water the first time. It was chilly but not freezing, probably somewhere around 14,32 degrees celsius. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon, huh?

Trying the water. My shadow's decapitated, should I be worried?
